About the Cardiac Action Group
The Cardiac Action Group (CAG) was formed as a Guernsey Registered Charity in 1996 to provide rehabilitation for Guernsey cardiac patients recovering from a heart attack or surgery. In 2006, HSSD took over the rehabilitation programme and appointed a specialist cardiac rehabilitation nurse aided by funding acquired by CAG. This allowed CAG to become a fundraising registered charity and in doing so, spread the range of support we can offer.
